The name of the committee has changed - from Committee on Climate Change to Climate Change Committee

[edit]

The organisation's name has been formally changed. Please see the chief executive's statement here https://twitter.com/ChiefExecCCC/status/1321066485624807425 And its website: https://www.theccc.org.uk/ We need to edit the whole page to reflect that, but it's such a major change I didn't want to do it without discussing with other users. This article should reflect their current and actual name. In addition, their logo has changed and should be updated here as well. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 22:21, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
To continue. Have the CCC really changed their name? Their latest report, issued 9 December 2020,[1] still is copyright to "Committee on Climate Change". So I recommend holding off an update until the name change status can be fully confirmed. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 22:29, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Stark article

[edit]

Former CEO Chris Stark deserves his own article. He has since been chief executive of the Carbon Trust, and was recently named head of the incoming Labour Party administration's new Mission Control for clean energy. I will create an article, unless someone is already working on one? KTnow (talk) 01:30, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
